Profoundry charges an introduction fee of 3% of the total cost of your job for all projects completed by our registered creators, regardless of the number of professionals required to reach your desired outcome. So if the total cost of your project is $500, you will be charged an additional $15, if your total project cost is $2000, the introduction fee will be $60.

Paying for your project through Profoundry is simple and easy.
Once you have chosen your preferred creators and everyone has agreed on the deliverables and scope of works, you will be required to pay for your project so the work can begin. Your payment will be held in escrow until the job is completed to your satisfaction. When you have approved the final project, your payment will be released.
If you know exactly who you want to complete your project, you can reach out to your preferred creator directly. However, like any job offer or freelance opportunity, your preferred creator has the right to decline the work because of scheduling, or any other reason.
In such cases, you will have the opportunity to offer your project to another content creator, or you can choose to receive quotes from Profoundry's list of qualified professionals.

Not everyone who applies to be a Profoundry creator is accepted. Only vetted professionals with a proven record of industry experience and a reputation for delivering quality results quickly, efficiently and under deadline pressure make the cut.
While Profoundry will not be responsible for personally approving any work completed by professionals hired through the platform, customers will be asked to rate and assess their satisfaction across a number of factors relating to their experience, including the quality of the final product and customer service.
These customer assessments will be regularly reviewed and any professionals who do not maintain the standard expected by Profoundry will have their membership reviewed.
These measures and the professional reputations of the creators available on Profoundry will ensure the best possible outcome for your project.
There are a number of ways to ensure you are shortlisting the right Profoundry creator.
Where possible, customers will be able to filter Profoundry's creators by their area of specialty through the platform's search engine. This will allow customers to see, for example, photographers who specialise in sports photography or weddings, or a writer who has specialist knowledge of business or science.
Profoundry's creators are also encouraged to register any special qualifications they may hold - such as a Working with Children certificate or a drone licence - during their registration process. Profoundry recommends customers using the platform clarify whether the creators you engage are covered by insurance before beginning your project. It is highly recommended that customers seek independent advice about what type of insurances, if any, you should have in place before engaging in freelance projects.
Similarly, Profoundry recommends customers should seek independent financial advice from a qualified accountant or financial advisor about the tax and legal implications of engaging freelance professionals through the platform in regards to issues like staffing and payroll.

Absolutely. There is no limit to the number of creative services you offer on Profoundry, providing you can demonstrate a history of applying those skills in a professional environment.
If you are a writer, photographer or graphic designer with the ability to act as a content concierge, there is nothing preventing you from increasing your earning capacity by offering both services.
You could be booked to execute one skill on a project, or a client may wish to engage you to write copy while also acting as a concierge to collaborate with other professionals to deliver a larger project.
But being a professional writer who also owns a camera does not necessarily make you a photographer. You must have a demonstrated history of professional work to be able to offer services in a particular category.
Of course you can. Having a full-time job does not exclude you from using your unique skills and experience to earn more money from a “side hustle” by offering your services to people who need them.
However, it is your responsibility to ensure that any freelance work you attract does not place you in a conflict of interest with your primary employer, or any of your other freelance customers.

However, given Profoundry's positioning as a premium service provider, we insist professionals abide by industry award wages when setting your minimum project costs.
Profoundry's members will be charged a tax-deductible membership fee - either $19.95 per month or $149 annually - for access to the site, hosting fees and other benefits associated with being a Profoundry member. Profoundry also charges a commission of 15% for every freelance job that you complete through the platform.
As well as being a gateway to a variety of freelance projects, Profoundry membership will provide you with access to our exclusive network of corporate partners, who offer heavily discounted rates on technology and services if you are looking to update or expand your equipment to increase your earning capability.

The most obvious benefit is the ability to earn an income by trading off your professional skillet, and years of industry experience.
Whether you are still working full-time in the media, have had your hours reduced, or have been made redundant, Profoundry will deliver quality opportunities to your inbox without the stress and hard work of having to establish your own client base and brand awareness by going into freelance work on your own.
Your Profoundry account will be linked to your designated bank account. Once engaged by a customer for freelance work, your fees will be held in escrow until the completion of the job to the customer's satisfaction.
Once the customer has approved the final project, their fee will be released and your money (minus the platform's 15% commission) will be deposited directly into your account.
Our team of software engineers are currently working on a fully automated website with an accompanying app for creators which will make viewing, accepting and managing freelance jobs quick and simple.
But software development takes time. Until the new website and app have been built and tested, jobs will mostly be handled and processed manually - just like dealing with a newsroom chief of staff.
No you don't. Like any job offer or freelance opportunity, you have the right to decline the work. In such cases, the project will be offered to the customer's next preferred content creator.
However, it is important to keep in mind that Profoundry's mission is to provide premium results for customers and to generate opportunities for professionals like yourself who are unemployed, or underemployed.
Regularly declining work will have a negative impact on the platform's ability to attract projects for registered professionals, so the site's administrators will be in touch with anyone who constantly refuses work to ensure Profoundry is a suitable fit for them.

To achieve that, it is imperative that high standards are met both in the quality of the work that is produced and the customer experience.
While Profoundry will not be responsible for personally approving any work completed by professionals hired through the platform, customers will be asked to rate and assess their satisfaction across a number of factors relating to their experience, including the quality of the final product and customer service.
A poor customer experience will reflect negatively on the registered creators and will also damage the reputation of the Profoundry platform, so any professionals who do not maintain the expected standard will have their membership reviewed.
While in the beta stage of development, Profoundry will be accepting applications to become a registered creator on a referral-only basis, so to become a member, you will need to receive an invitation from one of our current registered creators.
Once you receive your invitation, complete the registration process and a Profoundry administrator will review your application within two business days. We will then confirm whether your application has been accepted and be available to answer any further questions you may have.

However, to maximise your ability to earn money as a freelancer, there may be certain qualifications you need and choose to promote - such as a Working with Children certificate, or a drone licence.
As the platform is further developed, these qualifications will be able to be promoted on your personal profile page. Until then, Profoundry encourages creatives to document any individual certifications during the registration process, which can be kept on file and verified for clients' peace of mind.
It is not a requirement for registration with Profoundry but as a sole operator, it is highly recommended that professionals registered on the platform seek independent advice about what type of insurances, if any, you should have in place before accepting freelance offers.
Similarly, all Profoundry members should seek independent financial advice from a qualified accountant or financial advisor about the tax implications of performing freelance work with Profoundry for your individual circumstances.
All Profoundry members will be required to provide an Australian Business Number (ABN) at the time of their registration, and advise whether they are registered for GST.
For professional creatives, Profoundry membership will be available on a subscription basis.
Members will be charged a tax-deductible subscription fee - either $19.95 per month or $149 annually - for access to jobs posted on the site, hosting fees and other advantages of being a Profoundry member, including our exclusive corporate benefits.

To avoid confusion and potential disputes, it is imperative for both the creatives and clients to reach a clear agreement and accept the terms and scope of works before any project has begun.
Paying for your project and receiving your creative income through Profoundry is simple and easy.
Once the preferred creator/s have been selected and all parties have agreed on the deliverables and scope of works, the client is required to pay for their project so the work can begin. The project payment will be held in escrow until the job is completed to the client's satisfaction.
Once the final project has been approved, the final payment will be released and the funds transferred to the creator/s designated bank account, minus the platform's 15% commission.
As a client, you are free to cancel a project at any time. However, in order to protect our creative professionals against loss of income on any work already completed, you will be subject to cancellation fees depending on the progress of the project.
Once an order is confirmed, if you proceed to cancel 48 hours or more before the order deadline or project start time, you will be eligible for a full refund.
If the project is cancelled between 24 and 48 hours before the order deadline or project start time, a 50% refund is available, but if the cancellation occurs less than 24 hours before the deadline or project start time, you will be subject to full payment.
There are provisions for factors such as weather leading to the cancellation of an event, and we will be happy to work with you to reschedule your project delivery for another date. For more information, email us at admin@profoundry.com.au.
